My creative interests have been broad, but it has always been a passion of mine to develop these ideas. I have honed these skills and focused them in creating crafts and cards.
This interest was formed out of necessity. Many years ago, I found myself in a card store, shopping for a simple card for an event. After spending many minutes searching through a sea of card designs and wording, I could not find something what was both personal and perfect for that particular event. I went home and pulled together some items I had around the house and crafted a personalized card.
When I brought that to the event, the receiver was very grateful and appreciative of both the effort and attention to detail that I had placed in making this card. From that point, every birthday, wedding, or holiday card I gave was handmade.
Throughout the years, the technical skills learnt through my schooling combined with my interest in crafts, have expanded. To which I now provide invitations, stationery, and decor services to clients. Currently, I specialize in creating and making custom invitations, cards and event items. This extends to occasions such as stag and does, weddings, birthdays, parties, baby showers, bachelorettes and any occasion that may involve some sort of stationary item.
I also provide interior design consultation. This includes space planning, furniture orientation, floor plans & colour schemes, design features, finish selection and specifications.
On each project, I work personally with my clients to provide a design that is fully customized to their needs. My cards are handcrafted, unique and most importantly my clients are always involved in every aspect of the design process. This allows me to blend the client’s vision along with my design ideas to create a completely unique and personalized product.
